As soon as the bell rang, it didn't take me that much time at all to get my bag and head towards the door. When I got into the hall, I went a random direction and didn't look back as I tried to find a place for me to think about what just happened. Did I just dream of the conversation with the girl and that nightmare...or, did I really go backwards in time? Everything just seemed weird to me as I just walked around the school, not even knowing where I was going...nor did I know my way around the school. I just kept moving as it felt like everything around me was crashing down and extremely stressing me out.
Just as I turned a corner, the first thing I see is those bright orange eyes that made me actually jump a little and use my arms as a way to fend her off.
"Get away from me! I said go! I don't care about a club, you, or whatever! Just...stay away from me..." I yelled at her and attempted to move past her, but she grabbed my arm and swung me into the nearby empty classroom with a bit of force. Why is she that strong?! Is she the Hulk or something?! Anyway, I stumble into the classroom and trip onto the floor, my eyes on the girl who just locked the classroom door to not allow me to escape.
"Wow, Tokachi, you're acting like you've seen a ghost. Tell me...why are you so scared?" The girl asked me with an obviously fake grin that even a guy like me can see through. All I could do is start crawling away on the ground, but she grabbed the collar of my shirt and brought her face incredibly close. I bet she could see the intense fear in my eyes along with the sweat that is currently covering my face. I could feel my entire body still slightly shaking from what was going on as I stared up into her eyes that expected an answer from me. I have to lie or I will sound crazy…
"Oh, you know. When you have a bad dream about some killer with claws coming at you, this is probably the face you would make, wouldn't you agree?" I asked as calm as I could with a forced smile. She was silent for a second, almost like she was registering what I had said, but then she started snickering...then giggling...then laughing her as ass off like a maniac. It just felt like she just took my lie as a joke as she released my shirt collar and stopped laughing instantly, taking on a serious expression as she now grabbed my hair and pulling it so that I have to stand up. Then, she pushes me against a wall with my head hitting it hard enough to make me grunt in pain.
"Sorry, but that's the wrong answer." She told me with a bright smile that sent chills down my spine. "Don't worry, you have two more tries," She held up two fingers, " so I'll ask again...why are you so scared?" She asked with a more serious face that made me almost get on my knees, beg for forgiveness, and tell her whatever she wants to hear, but, instead of doing that, I held strong and looked at her with a forced sad expression as I looked away.
"Well, I wanted to keep this secret, but...it's about my sister. I got a text from my parents that she got involved in a car accident during homeroom. Her name is Fuko and she loves making wooden starfish. I ran out of the class to see if she survived, but I don't know my way around the school. I'm just...having a ba-"
"That's two strikes." She interrupted.
Really?! I put my best acting into that! The best you could do is believe me for a few moments...or, at least, let me finish my gigantic lie. Anyway, she decides to let go of my hair and start walking to her bag. I took this time to catch my breath and think about what lie I could come up with next...until I heard a similar sound that made my heart sank. Nah, it couldn't be. That's too crazy to have something like tha- holy shit! As soon as I look up at her, I just saw the inside of the little hole where bullets usually shoot out of the revolver she was holding. That's it... I'm telling the truth no matter how crazy it is. It can't be as crazy as this bitch with a fucking gun!
"Okay, Okay, Okay, Okay!" I started, panicking at the sight of the gun. "I think I had a dream where I talked to you about going to see this club that 'deceives everything', but I rejected it and went to my next class. After that, I fell asleep and had a dream inside a dream about this person with a mask that removed said mask to reveal a black hole in his head. Then, the person screamed at me, which made me wake up from both dreams screaming in class, like you saw. So, there you go. It was all a dream, that's the entire truth! Don't kill me..." I explained with my heart beating faster and faster as I wait for what she will do next.
"Wro- Nah, I'm kidding. Took you long enough to answer truthfully." She said, then opened the bullet holder on the revolver to reveal 6 empty holes. "This gun doesn't even have bullets in it. Hahaha." She laughed, but all I could just do was close my eyes, fall on the ground, and pass out.
What the hell did I get myself into...?
