"Sorry for being late." I told my 1st period teacher, but instead of being mad, he gives me a warning before telling me to go sit as the desk near the back on the right side close to the door. I was a bit surprised that I didn't get in that much of trouble, but I do have to take into consideration that it's my first day, so it's not unusual for me to be late for class. With that mindset, I just went on ahead and took my seat, but all I hear from the students around me was whispering and some giggling. I'm pretty sure it's about me, but considering it's around January, I'm pretty sure people have other things to talk about...but, I still think it's mostly about me.
Anyway, as I took my seat and the teacher went on about the subject at hand, which was math, I couldn't help but think about that weird girl from a few minutes ago. To me, I feel like she's one of those ojou-sama characters that probably has her own fanclub full of mostly guys. She is good looking, so that is probably me hitting the nail on the head...but, talking to her is like talking to a girl with blue hair who believes in aliens. She's crazy in thinking that I'm just going to go along with whatever she wants me to, like I'm her new puppet she got from the store. Even if she may be cute, even hot if you stretch it a bit, her personality is as ugly as the animation from that one show about ping pong. No thank you, Ms. Yu- shit, she never told me her name. Meh, do I really care to know the name of that bitch at all? Nope.
As I finished that thought, I suddenly felt tired out for some reason. Maybe because of me running to school in the cold, or maybe I was coming down with a fever, but whatever it was, I wanted to doze off. Seeing how I was pretty far back from the front, and how the guy in front of me is tall enough to block the top of my head from the sight of the teacher, I just laid down and drifted to sleep.
In my dream, I find myself surrounded by Cherry Blossom Trees which were in full bloom. As I looked at the leaves fall all around me, the wind blowing them every which way, I found myself looking at someone with a mask on. It had no eye holes, but it did have a picture of a clock. As I decided to step closer, I immediately found myself in a school hallway in the blink of an eye. However, the person with the mask was still there...but standing just a few inches away. Then, the picture of the clock started working like an actual clock, but the clock was going backwards instead of forwards.
"E Cafo nhti wk sama." The person said in a weird voice that sent chills down my spine and made me incredibly confused. Then, it raised its hand up to the mask and pulled it from his face...or, what seemed to be its face as all I saw was nothingness. A black hole full of darkness and dreadfulness. For some odd reason, I was frightened and began running the other way, but, instead, I was met with a dark room with no exits and no light. However, I saw this person clear as day when they walked to me and grabbed me tight as I heard an ear-piercing scream coming from the hole.
Before I realized it, I was suddenly sitting in a classroom with everyone looking directly at me. After coming that realization, I already discovered that I was the one screaming as I covered my mouth with my cold hands. I was slightly shaking as I looked around at the people who were looking at me before I heard the teacher say something that I couldn't hear over my shock to which everyone laughed and turned away from me. All I did after that was bury my face into the desk as I covered my head with my arms.
What the hell did I just dreamt of? It was obviously a nightmare, but that was terrifying. I don't know what I ate, what I did, or what someone has done to me that made me dream of that, but I hope to never have such a dream ever again. I would think I was on Elm Street or something, but even that's going a bit too far as I know the street name of what this school is on, so that's not it.
Well, whatever it is, it was a dream and I should man up. The last thing I wanna do is look like a cry baby or something on my first day of school...though, what the hell did that thing say? The last part was 'sama', but I couldn't understand the rest.
As I picked myself back up, I suddenly saw a slip of paper fly onto my desk from behind. Instead of picking it up, I suddenly became irritated and turned around to see...her again.
"Why are you in this class with me too? Or did you sneak in?" I whispered to her to not get the attention of the teacher.
"...what are you talking about?" She replied.
"I'm talking about how me and you can be in homeroom and math. That's too much of a coincidence. I already told you that I don't want to go to that club of yours, so stay away from me."
I don't know if it was after I was finished or while I was speaking, but she suddenly got a big grin on her face and started giggling to herself.
"What are you laughing about?" I ask, getting seriously mad.
"Well, before you continue to talk down to me, take a quick look around."
I decided to look around to see why she was laughing, but there was nothing out of the ordinary...until I suddenly realize that literally everything was out of the ordinary. I mean, if you look at the classroom and the people, it was a normal classroom with nothing unusual happening...but, if you have been reading the story this far, then you must remember that fact that I was in math class when I fell asleep. What I'm looking at is not that math class...but, instead...the homeroom. Not only that, but after looking at the clock above the board up front…
...I've somehow gone back 20 minutes…
To be continued...
